PRESS RELEASE–“Action Figures” follows two groups of toys. Shatterstar’s team of warriors is out for revenge and when they find their former owner Ian they’ll make him pay for abandoning them to the sadistic junkman Bertram Beetlebum. Can Wonder Woman and her team of hapless superheroes stop Shatterstar in time to save Ian? Does she even feel like it? The chase is on in this epic saga of consumerism and waste, ownership and friendship. By the people who brought you the Pixar films*!
(*Except Cars 2, we fired those assholes.)
Starring Shatterstar, Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, the X-Men, and the Avengers.
And then Shatterstar will probably do something like this (before decapitating the fat guy):

Pixar, say it ain’t so. I haven’t seen Cars 2 yet, but it can’t be that bad. It’s you, Pixar, right? Oh. It is that bad? Well, in that case, maybe an R-rated spinoff to the money-printing Toy Story franchise is a good idea, then. We know if anybody can pull this off, Pixar, it’s you.
Whether “Action Figures” is a one-off spinoff or the beginning of the next Toy Story 4, it’s risky. And right now, Pixar, you need to take a risk.
